For our restaurant in Lyngby, we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality, leadership, and operational excellence.
Cocks & Cows Lyngby is home to The Glass Room, our unique private dining and event venue. The Glass Room accommodates up to 80 guests and hosts everything from corporate events and celebrations to private dining experiences and special occasions.
As Assistant Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring exceptional guest experience both in the restaurant and during events.

Responsibility
- Maintain the highest levels of quality according to brand guidelines.
- Act as a role model and support the development of the team through coaching, training, and motivation.
- Be an active part of the daily operation and lead shifts to ensure operational excellence and achievement of shift targets.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, presentable, and follows all mood-setting procedures.
- Follow and uphold the Guest Journey according to brand guidelines.
- Support cost control initiatives, including labour, stock, and operational expenses.
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate procedures are followed.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling in line with the sales mix.
- Make beverages and support bar operations when needed.
- Be knowledgeable about the full menu and able to guide guests with special requirements, including allergies.
- Complete reporting through internal systems on closing shifts.
- Follow and support KPI targets set by management.
- Contribute to a positive working environment and high employee engagement.
Who are you?
- You enjoy being around people and creating great guest experiences.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated by achieving results.
- You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed.
- You speak fluent English, and Danish language skills are an advantage.
- Experience from the restaurant industry and a similar leadership position are preferred.
