About The Bird & The Churchkey

Located in the heart of Copenhagen, The Bird & The Churchkey was the city's first dedicated gin bar. Over the years, we've built a reputation for our extensive gin selection, expertly crafted cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere where quality and service are always at the centre of everything we do.

We believe that our team is the key ingredient behind the famous Bird atmosphere. That's why we're looking for people with charm, individuality, and strong personalities who also understand the importance of professionalism and teamwork.

As part of our team, you'll work alongside passionate colleagues who have helped shape the venue's culture and DNA from the very beginning.

Your Role as Bartender

As a bartender at The Bird & The Churchkey, you'll help create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

You'll serve cocktails, gin, beer, and other beverages with precision, quality, and enthusiasm while ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. You are a natural host who enjoys engaging with people and creating a warm atmosphere, even during busy service periods.

You will play an important role in maintaining the energy, hospitality, and standards that make The Bird & The Churchkey a destination bar in Copenhagen.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, gin, beer, and other beverages to a high standard.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and professional guest service.
• Create a welcoming and social atmosphere for all guests.
• Maintain efficiency and composure during busy service periods.
• Keep the bar clean, organised, and ready for service.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and company standards.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Contribute positively to the team culture and the unique Bird atmosphere.

Who You Are

• You have at least 1 year of experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• You are passionate about cocktails, spirits, and guest service.
• You are social, outgoing, and enjoy interacting with people.
• You stay calm and professional when working in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a team player who values collaboration.
• You are reliable, responsible, and positive by nature.
• You speak fluent English (Danish is an advantage but not required).
• You are flexible and enjoy working evenings and weekends.
